This site collects as little as it can and says exactly what that is. Three services are involved and no others.
Hosting: Vercel. Serving the pages produces standard server logs: the IP address of the request, the browser's user agent, the page requested and the time. Vercel keeps these to operate the service and defend it against abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you and are not joined to anything below.
Measurement: Plausible. Visits are counted with Plausible Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and uses no cross-site identifier. What it records is that a page was viewed, from which country, on what kind of device, and which of the site's own events fired (a subscribe, an issue read to the end). It cannot tell one visitor from another across days.
Measurement, second count: Vercel Web Analytics. The host's own visit counter, loaded from this site's domain. It sets no cookie either; it derives a visitor identifier from the request that is discarded after a day, and it records the same page views and the same named events as Plausible. Two counters, so a number can be checked against another.
This is why the site carries no consent banner: nothing here needs consent.
The list: Resend. If you subscribe, the form posts to this site's own endpoint, which stores your email address with Resend for one purpose: sending you the issues. It is not sold, shared, or joined to the analytics. Open and click tracking are switched off. Unsubscribing removes the address from the list in one click, from the link at the foot of every email.
Nothing else. No advertising pixels, no session replay, no embedded social widgets, no fingerprinting.
Vercel and Plausible operate in the European Union and the United States; Resend in the United States. Each is bound by its own privacy policy and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses for transfers out of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
Email: unsubscribe from any issue, or write to [CONTACT EMAIL] and the address is removed. Server logs expire on Vercel's retention schedule and cannot be attributed to you by us. There is no analytics profile to delete.
